"It's natural for people to exaggerate their love for their hobbies"

I wouldn't say this is true of all people, I've lived most of my life underplaying how much I like most of my hobbies to not seem like a complete nerd. For example, I would read the whole summer reading list and about the only people who knew were my teacher and my mother.

But then people seem more into having nerd cred then they used to be, I'm still shy about my hobbies sometimes.
