I tried to watch the US version but I couldn't get into it. I guess I was too far gone on the original so it kinda felt wrong. But I'm thinking I should give it another go and see if it works for me a second time around, because I've heard it's pretty good.

Just wondering, did you prefer the first three seasons of the UK Being Human or the last two seasons? They swapped out all of the main cast with a new vampire/werewolf/ghost combo, and I'm in the minority of actually preferring the later cast/seasons. I thought they had better chemistry (and I shipped Hal/Tom super hard whereas I never really shipped Mitchell/George).

I've only seen the first two season of UK Being Human and I honestly prefer all four of US Being Human. They start out similarly enough, but I think the latter seasons of the US one are my favorite. The show is one of the few where it actually ends really, really well.

I really recommend seasons 4 & 5 of the UK version. The new trio are incredibly adorable, and I connected with all of them way more than I ever did the original three.

I definitely will give the US one another go. I've been wanting a supernatural show to watch lately, so it will do nicely. And I'm glad to hear it ends well, because so many shows don't :D

I'll be sure to check out the later seasons of the UK version.

And yes, I'm hesitant at this point to start shows if I don't know they end well because I've been so disappointed in the past (Lost, The 4400). I mean, I was sad it ended but it was a fitting ending and resolved nicely.

I struggled to get into the US version too because I was so familiar with the UK series but while the first seasons are very similar, the US version starts to do it's own thing in season 2. By season 3, it feels completely separate from the UK series. Season 3 is when I really fell in love with the US version and I think I've come to actually prefer it to the UK version, at least after season/series 1. Though I think the acting's stronger in the UK version.
