I do some of those things but not others, and I never feel like I fit in with the 'bibliophile' aesthetic either. I love the fuck out of my kindle, for one thing, and I'm actively trying to get rid of paper books bc I live in a tiny apartment. I don't really have anything against people who want to label themselves that way, but it has become kind of a cultural marker of a certain way of loving books. You don't have to match it to love reading.
