I agree with every word of thiiiiiis

I don't know how I'm not shipping Betty and Veronica but I'm not even though they're both great characters. They do have a great friendship that never really reads as romantic and Betty and Jughead being together seems so natural and adorable. I just never felt it even when they made out.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that I basically dislike enemy ships, I would say that the most obvious f/f ship on the show is Veronica/Cheryl. I could definitely see that although I wouldn't say that I, you know, care for the ship myself

Josie seems the most obvious ship for Cheryl, IMO. After Candy Girl and such.

I don't know, they did have a whole episode where Veronica sleeps over at Cheryl's house

OP: Yay glad I am not alone in this! Also agree on Veronica/Cheryl.

I can't speak to this show, 'cause I haven't seen it, but I've got a few shows like that, too, where I can ship pretty much almost any of the characters with each other. "Criminal Minds" is DEFINITELY a perfect example of this for me. Even if I have a few pairings I'm particularly fond of on there, there's still plenty others I'm just as cool with, too, or where I can see why people ship them. That show is a multi-shipper's dream.

Some shows have that kind of awesome cast chemistry that makes it so easy to ship virtually anything :D. Nothing wrong with that!

You're not a bad femslasher for not hating ships that get in the way. As a matter of fact, I think that makes you mature.

I'm in the same boat. Love Betty and Veronica.

(OP) I feel like sometimes in fandom you have to be slash or no slash and never the twain shall meet! B & V are great.<3

So full disclosure, I've never watched Riverdale, but my impression is that it isn't really for teens exclusively? It seems like it's pretty nostalgic with a modern flair.

At the most basic level, it functions in terms of a CW Teen Drama, and anything else it's doing is layered on top of that. It is very, very committed to its genre (and aware of its genre) being teen drama.

It did throw in a "Breakfast Club" joke recently, which seemed aimed at an older demographic. Do teens still know the the Breakfast Club? Genuine question.

OP: Glad I am not the only one! Everyone in this show is too adorable!

Honestly, everyone should just hook up with each other

(Except for Grundy, of course. I ship her with jail time)
