To this day I'm annoyed the anime didn't give him much characterization.
I understand he was mostly a foil to Yami Bakura, but I feel like they could have done more. At least the manga had him have an interest in the supernatural - and he felt less like an awkward addition to the gang and more like a friend.
In the manga he had more interactions with the spirit [of the ring] too, which was interesting. Why is all of that gone?
SB I feel like a fangirl who's still salty her fave didn't get enough attention.
