Hard disagree. I never got the Skarsgard hype. And Hemsworth is the only Marvel Chris I find attractive.

Same here, minus that second sentence.

Yes to the first part, no to the second. I find all three Chrisses hot (and would give anything for a Chris threesome), though Hemsworth is the best.

In character or out? Does it matter? Can Chadwick Boseman/Black Panther join in as a special guest?

In character is best, but I'd take anything. And oh, yes, the more, the merrier.

I think all three Chrises are attractive but I totally agree about not being on the Skarsgard hype train. I personally find him to be kind of bland looking tbh.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-18 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
His pants are distractingly tight and flat.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-18 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I get you, I'd hit that as Thor's hammer. Repeatedly.

Hems is perf for the role, you are wrong. Skaasgaard would have been great if Thor had been an R-rated Deadpool style dark comedy hyper violence fest, I'll give you that.

Hrmmmmmmm. I dunno. I saw him in Tarzan and wasn't much impressed, and apparently he was in 'Kill Your Darlings' but I don't remember him, so - again, no big impression.

Hemsworth injects a bit of doofy humor into Thor which I enjoy, and I don't think Skarsgard could really do that.

You must have missed him in Zoolander too, where he IS Mr. Doofy (good work set against Ben Stiller).

I saw the second Zoolander but I just don't remember him. I'll have to take another look. Those are the only things i've ever seen him in.

I don't find Hemsworth the least bit attractive, but I like him in the the role. I find it hard to speculate on whether Skarsgard (who I'm also not attracted to) could have played the part in a way that worked. However, looks-wise I have to agree that he would've been freaking AMAZING for the part.

I haven't seen Alexander in much but what I have seen doesn't show whether he has any comedic timing, which Chris does have and is important for Thor.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-18 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
He has excellent timing, comedic and otherwise. Proven in Generation Kill, for instance.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-18 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm kind of tickled by the idea of father & son doing the "we drank, we fought, he made his ancestors proud" scene while pretending to not be father and son. I mean, I'm sure they've done things like that before but I haven't seen them.

Actually, I'm tickled by the idea of Jane falling in love with a man who looks exactly like a blonde buff version of her father figure.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-19 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
That might have changed up the character dynamics enough to make the Thor movies interesting.

IDK, though I find Skaasgaard smoking hot...I think he looks better with shorter hair which is weird for me as I love longer hair on men.

I just can't forget that wig in True Blood S1, it could have been sooo much better.

I don't like Alexander Skarsgard's face. There's something about it that is too pretty. Now some of his brothers are better that way, but wouldn't work as Thor. I like Hemsworth as Thor, and that's not a "fellow Aussie" thing. To my eye, Hemsworth is good-looking but doesn't have near as much of that "too pretty" factor. Ironically I think his brother Liam has some of it, but not as much as Skarsgard.

Dude, remember Thor from Adventures in Babysittng?

(Anonymous) 2017-03-19 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
Well, sort of Thor. The mechanic, Dawson, that Sara thinks is Thor.

That's who I always thought of before Chris Hemsworth's Thor. And then I remember that that was Vincent D'Onofrio and things get weird.
