I'm not seeing that in the secret at all. OP says they wish westerns were more popular because they like gorgeous modern cinematography, etc. If westerns were more popular, there'd be more of them made and OP's chances of getting good cinematography are increased. I don't think there's any assumption that it's guaranteed.
