I'm looking forward to what they do with him, I've not seen the previous shows(heard about them though) so I don't know 100% what to expect, but hopefully he's fun in his own way.

Depends on what that nature is. The writers that do this tend to write about a universe that is utterly apathetic to our existence and would crush us without a thought. Doesn't bother me personally but a lot of people seem to be bothered by the idea of being insignificant.

I do like Craig as a Bond, but I'm really starting to get a bit tired of the style of his Bond films, and yeah I think it's time for something new.

Honestly, for as good as Craig is at being Bond, even at his best, I don't think any of his movies would be in my top 5 Bond films.

holy moly I thought I was the only one who still cared about Stargate. Tbh never really thought about these two as a pairing, and never had a problem with Sam/Jack - but now that you mention it, they would be excellent together. They'd have the kind of respectful, loving relationship that people should strive towards, and none of the tension that Sam and Jack sometimes had. I guess that's the issue; they never really had UST on screen, or a sexual kind of chemistry. They always just seemed like really good friends, like if they dated it would be taking 'date your best friend!' to truth.
