I'm a 90s kid and feel similarly about 90s nostalgia. Part of it, I suppose, is that I never was much of a TV watcher, and I didn't attend public school, so most of my nostalgia of that time is more about the books I was reading and video games I was playing. And with the exception of maybe Harry Potter and Pokemon, none of that stuff is really mentioned when people talk about their 90s nostalgia. (That said, I appreciate the way nostalgia has made Pokemon more popular among my age group again. I kept liking it long after it stopped being cool, lol.)
