I remember when he threw a fit that critics didn't like Baywatch like......did he really think he was making even remotely high-art films? Or even ones that were marginally good?

Most of his films are just entertaining, and they make people happy, and that's great, but wow he seems to have had an oddly high opinion of his work.

I was going to see it until the whole 'putting a dude in a dress and shaming him for it is hil-arious! Top shelf comedy, yes.' NOPE Nuh uh no way no how.
