Games thread!

Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-10 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Give two options and person below you chooses between them.

Starting out with something simple: would you rather be a productive member of society with a job you love and a comfortable income or lazy bum who has significant amounts of money to do whatever the hell you please?

Lazy bum, you can use your money to find things to do that you love or volunteer at what you love.

What would you rather have revealed to the public: horrifically unflattering nudes of you at your ugliest that include your face, or your entire internet browsing history?

Everyone knows both are yours. Entire internet browsing history includes everything you did anonymously or previously erased.

nudes

The nudes. I mean to say I don't suppose it's ever been a secret to anyone that I'm horrifically ugly.

Browser history.

There's some weird stuff in there, but who doesn't have weird stuff in there? Explaining would be easy. "I searched for that because I saw some people talking about it elsewhere and looked it up to see." Everyone does that.

Jajajaja, easy choice

You act like my entire internet browsing history doesn't include those horrifying nudes, as well as horrifying nudes of other people.

be a unicorn or a dragon?

Re: Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-11 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Depends on the rules of the fictional universe. My Little Pony I'm going to go unicorn, dragons are dicks.

Re: Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-11 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
It would depend how I was treated. If, as a unicorn, I was well-loved and had access to everything I needed, lots of rest and food and grass, while dragons faced hunting, etc., I'd rather be a unicorn. But if all things were equal I'd probably want to be a dragon!

Dragon.

Lazy Bum. Fucking working, I hate it.

eat nothing but dog kibble or drink nothing but buttermilk?

Re: Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-11 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
Did you actually compare dog food to buttermilk.

Re: Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-11 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I love buttermilk, but I think the human body needs some water to survive. If it was survivable, sure. Buttermilk is healthy. I'm not sure that dog food is (even for dogs). Seriously some of that stuff kills pets...

Re: Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-11 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
There's plenty of water in buttermilk. As long as I could mix stuff into it, and possibly eat miracle berries first, bring on the buttermilk.

Productive and comfortable. I think it's dangerous for people to have more money than they need and not know what to do with themselves. Productive and comfortable is PLENTY to ask from life. :)

Would you rather have to cook every meal that you eat every day of your life from scratch or give up the internet for eight years?

Re: Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-11 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
Cook from scratch, assuming I could afford to make elaborate stuff when I wanted to.

Re: Would you rather?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-11 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Lazy bum with lots of money, because one of the things I "please" is to give shittons of money to charity. Because honestly, I could do a lot of what I currently do as a productive member of society who (most of the time) loves my job, as a volunteer instead of a paid employee, while also not having to worry about money ever again. Right now I kind of live paycheck fo paycheck, but I'll be living pretty comfortably soon, and I'm not miserable at the moment, just nervous because in a real emergency I could still be hosed.

I'll never feel completely financially secure unless I can shrug off medical bills as nbd. I have medical insurance, but nothing kills a sense of financial security like opening a statement that says one of your loved one's many hospital stays cost $99,000. Between my mom, her mom, my dad's brother, and both my dad's parents, they had breast cancer x3, prostate cancer, colon cancer that metastasized to tongue and lungs, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, and liver cancer. And the more money you throw at cancer, the more likely, and longer, you'll live through it.

Lazy bum with lots of money.

I could fill my need for structure with volunteering, donate a lot more than I currently can afford to the causes I think are important, and buy my friends houses and send their kids to college.

Win/win.
