I'd just like to see more 40s+ women kicking ass in whatever way possible (physical or not). I think it sometimes seems like everyone on TV is generically "early 30s" and I'd appreciate some age diversity.

I agree.

But I don't think a reboot is the place to have that though. A reboot is supposed to be the original story in which the characters were in their early 20s. Also they kinda die in the end in the original plot.

I would not at all mind a *new* story about 40something women kicking ass. That's what we need more of.

I understand Rey in The Force Awakens has been really importand for a lot of girls and young women, but at 36 I found Fury Road far more empowering.
