What rule about sexual roles says that in order to maintain your status you have to want to dominate everyone all the time? I'm not exactly sure what's so terribly wrong about liking the thought of being the submissive partner once in a while.

this. even though a lot of people definitely lean towards being mostly dominant or mostly submissive I've known relatively few people who are 100% dominant or 100% submissive. it's not really a big deal

Defined sexual roles don't/shouldn't exist. Or at least that's what I learned that from FS.

I find this a sign of being comfortable in your domminess. I wouldn't touch hetero femsum in fiction with a ten foot pole until I realized I'm a domme. Like, "oh, okay, that's who I am, so it doesn't mean I'm suddenly soemthing else if I choose to write about a fantasy where a female character isn't dominant because that says nothing about me in RL".
