>If you go on vacation and you spend all your time running through a rigid checklist and obsessing about how to make this vacation live up to some arbitrary standard of being THE BEST VACATION EVER and obsessing over how few days you have left in the vacation and stressing out to MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN, you'll go fucking insane. Whereas if you're more flexible and take advantage of opportunities that are there, you're a lot more likely to have a genuinely enjoyable, memorable experience.

Nope, I'm the opposite. Maybe I'm a little ADHD but without a rigid checklist, I'll just end up staying inside and watching TV and surfing the Internet all day.

Virtually nothing good has ever come of me having unplanned time on a vacation. Or bad, for that matter. Mostly just sitting around. Sometimes eating ice cream because I'm bored.
