OMFG, maybe the manufacturer can't be held legally accountable, but nobody fucking reads the manual back to back and something like that should be designed to be more intuitive. Anyway you're a shitstain.

I read manuals before operating machines. I used to even read the Haynes manual before operating some of my older cars. With new vehicles I just read the operators manual.

And anyway, the parking brake was not covered by the recall and was intuitive and operable. It is just he may or may not have attempted to put it in park on the transmission alone; or he could genuinely have left it in neutral. I believe, like the "unintended acceleration" issue of toyotas a few years ago, a number of those claiming the park/neutral transmission confusion are lying about having put it in park in the first place. The manufacturer is finding it cheaper to stuff the mouths of dumbasses with money to shut them up rather than educate them or point out they are dumbasses. And let us not forget that the vast majority of owners of these vehicles do not and have never had this issue because they RTFM and because they paid attention until they got used to the new design.

If he'd used the parking brake as well/instead of putting the transmission into park he'd still be bringing his shitty accent to future Trek movies. If he'd RTFM he'd still be doing that. If he'd paid attention to what he was doing, he'd still be doing so. If he'd bought a manual car then he'd also still be alive.

See all the things that are his responsibility and not anyone elses? That is why he gets his Darwin Award.

Seriously dude, chill the fuck down!

No one honestly cares about your obsession with trying to blame some poor guy who died from a jeep that has been recalled (what do you work for that particular brand of jeep? Are you the CEO? Even if you do and are, blaming the person who has died does not look good for the company.)

A person has died. Have some fucking respect. I get it that you're a sociopath, so don't understand 'empathy' so I'll put it in a way that will work for you.

It looks good for you, in society, to express sympathy and condolences in these instances, not go on about stuff that honestly, has nothing to do with you.
