A new Jason movie is in the works. Tom Savini is doing the special effects for Jason and has been posting some pictures on his twitter and they are awesome! A new Halloween reboot is in talks. Not a continuation of Zombie's twosome but a complete reboot. You should also check out Dreddit {the reddit horror sub} because there is lots of horror fans like you.

I do agree with the over use of CGI and gore porn of some horror movies. But to me it's like nudity or sex. If it's relevant to the plot then I don't mind it so much. But the plot should never be how gross we can be. A zombie eating a woman from the inside out ... cool. A Serbian Film being gross to be gross ... not so cool.

and I'm hopeful with the new Halloween reboot - I tried to watch the first Rob Zombie reboot and I just.. Wow - I couldn't get past when Michael escaped, too gory for me.
