I have tried so hard to read this comic, but the point of it keeps eluding me. It's not funny, it has no noticeable plot and the characters are all different grades of yawn... The title is the only thing that makes sense!

If you love it, can you please explain?

I wouldn't say I love it and I definitely wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone. I would say the biggest reason I read it is probably because I've been reading it probably like 12 or 13 years at this point and it's a deeply entranced habit. I do like it, but mostly what I like about it is that it's quiet and familiar and nice and likable.

Where did you start? I don't know how accessible the current stuff is, since I've been reading it for ages.

This isn't my favorite era of the strip. I don't particularly like Claire, Marten has drifted into a sort of early-onset senility over time, the Bianchis aren't in it as much, and Marten's band has completely disappeared.

The early-to-mid Hanners stuff is probably the strongest era.

But it has had plots. The recent one was about Bubbles, following one about Faye getting fired.

But if it's not funny to you, then there's nothing to be done.
