I know this is referring to the Disneyfied version but even still...I don't think not finding a John Smith to your Pocahontas is something to be like "Sigh, alas" over.

I get all of the snarky responses, but I get you. When I was younger I used to run around my yard and pretend my favorite (maple) tree was Grandmother Willow, and that I would have adventures in that land like Pocahontas.

Naturally, as life went on I got to indulge my love of camping, backpacking, and just being outdoors.

S!B - SJW here, who can't help but think about the racism that went into the movie, and how much extra toppings of racism helped make so many people unaware of what really happened.
