I guess I should have specified I meant that most shows play it that way? I was assuming that was where the OP was coming from. I don't really have an issue with the OP's fantasy either. Just that when the media uses a plot point such as this, they'd make it more of a collaborated decision between the man and the woman. I rarely see that happen though unfortunately.
