I... don't normally post here, but I was told about this secret by a friend. You aren't alone, OP. Totally not alone. While IOSYS and Rolling Contact and all that is fun to listen to, Perfect Cherry Blossom's ost has a place on my mp3 player. Border of Life and Bloom nobly, cherry blossoms of Sumizome ~ Border of Life are two of my favourite pieces from PCB especially, and Lunar Clock - Luna Dial and of course U.N. Owen Was Her? from EoSD are amazing. ZUN's music is just EPIC, something that I don't think the remixes and such can touch. ♥

What he did IS rape. He took way their ability to consent. But I wouldn't get bent out of shape about it. The problem isn't even with the character; it's the writers thinking it was funny and not rape. Direct your vitriol towards them, not a fictional character who was being used at that moment for comic relief.

Oh deal with it. Not everyone likes Ten and/or doesn't want him to leave because he's hot, and your "I've been there for all the Doctors and you haven't so HA" superiority complex is one of the things that just turns people off fandom.

(And I'm saying this as someone who prefers Nine and is equal parts sad and excited for Ten leaving)

Right so, SGA is probably the only fandom on this list that I'm in, since the Torchwood fans kinda scare me, I'm not that into anime (no particular love or hate for it, it's just not that big where I am) and the less said about Twilight the better.

But seriously, Rodney's whole damn life is one giant mid-life crisis. And even though I despise the whole Rodney/Keller thing (not the ship itself, more the way it was played out; TPTB obviously can't write a realistic romance even when they're paid to), I honestly think that ... well, Keller's a doctor, yes? Surely she's smart enough, and independent enough, not to let herself be some guy's 'accessory' (and, oh, isn't that a flattering adjective) for his mid-life crisis? And on top of that, do we see Rodney trying to mould Keller into someone she most definitely, in a million years, could never be? No. No, we do not.

Hey, I'm a Rodney fan, and I make no apologies for that - but the only woman on the show that they give even a modicum of independence to is Teyla.
