Bleh, yeah, OP, that's ridiculous. Bigfoot is friendly, he'd never be responsible for missing persons cases.

Ugh. I hate conspiracy theories and people who actually believe in cryptids.

You'd also like the true-crime adjacent episodes of You're Wrong About! For example, they talk about the DC Snipers, the OJ case, and the 80s' Stranger Danger panic

Warning: will cause rage about the U.S.'s criminal system and how we as a country treat women, mental illness, and more. Also how dumb that system is. Like really dumb. Like, shoot ourselves in the foot dumb

Other relevant episodes: Shaken Baby Syndrome, Crack Babies, Gangs, and more
(one of the cohosts also hosts the great Maintenance PHase podcast)

I get the impression that Mr Ballen is only involved with the Missing 411 because he did a video on some of them and the dude got shitty about it

Well, if Bigfoot is a bear with a fur condition, then I can definitely believe bears cause missing persons.

I hate most of the 'true crime' community because they treat real peoples tragedies as entertainment. They twist everything to push their own conspiracy theories.

Every time I find a new channel I use their coverage of Elsa Lam or Kris Kremers/Lisa Froon as an indicator of how well they actually research and if they are going to push conspiracy theories over facts.
