I liked that show a hell of a lot the first season but the second season seemed to slump terribly in terms of the writing quality. The focus came away from it being a rediscovery and reinvention of Samantha and more regular sitcom fare (and lots of times when Samantha did something ridiculous and stupid that not even an anmesiac would do). I wish the show had continued because I loved everyone on the show, but I'm also not too remorseful since the writing probably wouldn't have improved, anyway.
