I honestly suspect you're overthinking this, OP. Everyone learns by looking at whoever they think is the best. I don't do fanart, but my writing style is pretty much an amalgam of my few favourite writers (both other fanfic writers and also popular authors I like).

There isn't an unlimited range of styles for fanart, and yours being similar to someone else's isn't a big deal. It'll keep becoming ever more 'yours' as you go on, anyway.
