Taking my mom out for a belated mother's day coffee date, hopefully! We'll go to the farmer's market, then we'll pack up some pastries and some frozen peas, I'll buy coffee (well... I'll transfer her the money, she's got the loyalty program account at a local coffee kiosk and usually pays through their app), and we'll go look for some ducks. We'll eat donuts, the ducks will eat frozen peas, and we'll enjoy a little beautiful weather, claim a picnic bench by the creek, and then we'll probably poke around a yarn store after.

That sounds like a delightfully relaxing weekend. A farmer's market, coffee shop, and ducks? That's the main montage in a Hallmark movie.

We had to postpone the ducks for Monday just how our timing worked out, but we did get to see a lot of good dogs at the farmers' market!
