Sounds like she is just teasing/joking trying to chat. Obviously doesn't vibe with you and thats okay.

I have friends I'd joke like this with, like "damn why you so busy? Need to pencil in friendship time" or something like that and they'd text/say something jokey or sarcastic back and we'd have a laugh and move on. But I have friends that would take that teasing as a judgment or rudeness so I know to communicate differently with them.

Also, busy every weekend is not the norm for my circle so it might not be for theirs. We usually complain about being busy every weekend if it happens lol we are a chill on the weekends type. My sister on the otherhand has something going on every weekend once the nice weather hits and will until winter.

Frankly I find more annoying being pushy about learning my plans than teasing. I find teasing inappropriate because we are not that close, but I understand for what it is.
I mean I am not busy EVERY weekend, but I don't like people invaiding my planned chill time ahahaha. :D.

And your reaction is valid!

It also depends on the person. Like there are some people where this would ALWAYS come off rude, you know? Like those people that "tease" but what they are really doing is being mean or invasive under the guise of teasing. Those people are the worst and it is so hard to tell over text.

Oh and I definitely tell people I'm busy when sometimes my "busy" is chill time in my garden or reading a book. Yes I have plans, amd thise plans are being by myself amd chilling XD

Yup!
I do live an active life, but quite time in my bed is valuable too!
Also a lot of things I prefer doing alone. And I am planning for this too!
