I loved the books. But it's been so long since I've read or seen them that I'm tempted to go back and rewatch the movies at least. Not quite as much of a bookworm as I used to be, haha.

I tried to read both "The Hobbit" and "The Fellowship of the Rings", but neither of them were my thing, lol. |D I'm really tempted to save up to buy the movies, though. I enjoy them. ^_^

Lol yeah, the books are kind of long winded, I guess. And I liked that the movies stayed true to the books though, they didn't seem chopped up and all over the place like some of the later Harry Potter movies. Omg though, I can't believe it's been so long since they came out, they kind of blend together for me now too. XD

Yep. I wasn't wondering half the time what the LoTR movies were talking about, unlike the HP movies, lol.

Ugh, the HP movies got to be really horrible about that between GoF and OotP. I'd try to read the book before seeing the new movie and then have to go back and reread the darn book to get rid of all the confusion and wtf! And then spend the next month swearing I remembered something little happening the same way in the book as in the movie when it didn't. D:
