Explain to me how sometimes being male and sometimes being female does not involve a choice.

The... same way that always being male or always being female does not involve a choice? It's not something you PICK. It's just how your mind IS.

I like how you frame it as sometimes male and sometimes female though. Because all genderfluid people are like that. They're never sometimes male and sometimes agender, or sometimes female and sometimes genderqueer.

Honestly, if you can't make up your mind what you are, you need help. Family, friends, therapists. It does not make sense to just accept "sometimes I'm this and sometimes I'm that". It will be confusing for you (general 'you'), it will be confusing for those around you, it will result in a whole lot of angst in your life that you will be better off without.

lol goddamn you sound like the people who say bisexuality isn't a thing

So... is bisexuality not real either?

What about biracialness?

Or intersex?

(You do know that gender comes from the chemical makeup of your brain, right? It's not something you randomly pick?)

Biracialness isn't real, though. There is no medical definition of race, it's a social construction.

Either way, what are the biological causes of genderfluidity? Is there any serious research to validate its existance? I don't take FEELINGS and HYPOTHESIS as proof of existance.
(You do know that gender comes from the chemical makeup of your brain, right? It's not something you randomly pick?)
Like, there have been actual scientific studies and everything.

I know that. But any research specifically on genderfluidity? How does it work? Is there any proof of it beyond people saying "today I feel like the chemicals in my brain tell me that I'm a girl"?

You're a retard.

Going by the ad-hominem attack, I guess I can be certain that "genderfluid" isn't accepted by any kind of serious scientifical community?

(frozen comment)

(Anonymous) 2012-03-07 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
Of fucking course it's not. Transgender is barely accepted as it is.

(Anonymous) 2012-03-07 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Transgender just means not identifying with your sex; there isn't a lot of controversy regarding that, it just means that your brain is chemically closer to the gender opposite to your sex.
