asdfghjkl; I would honestly read the shit out of your final project! Tbh I never studied it in school beyond the basic Greco-Roman stuff they give you in English class, but I got a Norse myths book for cheap sometime last year on a whim and have been rapidly consuming mythology books of every kind since then. First thing I do when I go to a new book store is literally gut the mythology sections - small as they often are - for anything I haven't picked up. I'm reading Joseph Campbell's 'Primitive Mythology' atm and am embarrassingly, flailingly in love with it.

Are you kidding me? My current reading is Joseph Campbell's The Hero With A Thousand Faces! I scrounge up mythology books whenever there's a sale at the library or garage sale or cheap bookstores (getting way too ahead of myself sometimes in reading, but BOOKS).

Fandoms fandoms...Starting from the top, I've read some of A Song of Ice and Fire, but keep meaning to watch the show (do like it quite a bit, the complexities of the plot just make me put it down sometimes, heh). Love me some Harry Potter, just got into Supernatural and working my way through (up to season 6)...I've got a lot of under the surface fandoms too, the ones that just catch you on a whim, so. The Hunger Games, Buffyverse, some Sherlock, etc., etc.

Hero With A Thousand Faces is completely on my list of things to read, but the list is so, so damn long and I add things to it after every meal, so idek when I will get to it. But, yes, BOOKS. If I had to use one word to describe my interests/personality/majority of my thoughts, that would be it. I literally have piles and piles of books all over my room. Like, they take up more space than my furniture. (plus, everything I've dled on amazon kindle, which I love because FREE, and because you can get all the classics FREE. 'FREE' is another word I love.)

For ASoIaF I watched the show first, then sped through the books afterward just because I needed to know what happened. IMO, I prefer the show, just because of the prettiness of the sets, but I think the books - at least the first three - are quite good. HP is a given. <3 I watched the first three season of SPN years ago right after the third aired, but never caught up until I mega-rewatched up through 7 last month and OMG, SO MANY FEELINGS ;_____;

BtVS was my first, and possibly my favorite show of all time. I haven't watched the new season of Sherlock yet, as I'm waiting for my sister to get back from studying abroad so we can watch it together. Everyone keeps telling me to read The Hunger Games, and I plan to, I really do, 'cause it sounds awesome, but like I said, PILES AND PILES OF BOOKS.

So, friends then? (and on that note, fav ships, characters, etc. from any/all listed fandoms? I don't judge/have problems with people who like different things than me, because I am a multi-shipper like whoa. Just curious.)
