Everything's optional, of course.
Rules: No porn, guro gifs, auto-looping/playing embeds, etc. To avoid excessive scrolling, if you're going to link an image or gif in your post, keep it to 3 images max. (If you abuse this rule by posting something 10000px in height, I'm just going to delete your whole thread.)

Age: 23
Location: From southern Delaware, now residing on the eastern shore of Maryland.
Fandoms: Sailor Moon, Transformers, Adventure Time, MLP: Friendship is Magic, South Park, The Simpsons, Soul Eater, Monster High, XXXHOLiC, Metalocalypse, Dexter (books and show), Depeche Mode, slowly getting into Doctor Who, and probably more I can't think about right now but post on my Tumblr. (http://lunarkitten.tumblr.com)
What in fandom interests me: I like fanart, fanfics, discussion, AMVs -- pretty much all the fun fannish stuff even if I don't participate a lot these days.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: Shipping. I'm also not big on porn.
Major Non-fandom Interests: Books! I like to read, especially about history (I have a thing for US presidents). I also like crafts and am trying to learn how to sew. I used to like to draw and want to get back into it even if I'm not that great. My job takes a lot of out of me so I don't have a ton of hobbies these days; I need to find new things to do. :[
My LJ Contains Mostly: Unfortunately, it's a lot of writing about depression and bad things these days. I'm trying to turn that around and write about happier things -- I got to meet Jodi Picoult last week and that was the highlight of my year! :D Most of my fandom stuff goes on my Tumblr, but I'm still active on LJ and like meeting new friends.

I love shipping, but it's not the only thing I'm interested in. Can't write it at all anyway! All my stuff's gen or about sibling relationships, practically. x3; I'm more of a fanartist than a fanfic writer, anyway~
Maybe we'd get along?

Right now I'm reading The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Presidents. I'm not really enjoying it because it has a huge obvious conservative slant and I can't take the information in it at face value, especially since it doesn't credit sources, but I started it and I might as well finish it. I'm also waiting for my copy of Loss by Jackie Morse Kessler to come in. I think I'm the only person who reads that young adult series, but it's called the Riders of the Apocalypse and it deals with three (maybe four, I'm not sure about Death) teenagers being chosen as the four horseman. Each one has a personal problem related to their position; for example, Famine has anorexia and War is a self-harmer. I need to get out of my non-fiction rut and start reading some more fiction. I just finished Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult about a week ago and was eerie how closely the book mirrored a recent event in my life, so I drove 120 miles to meet her on her book tour and tell her how reading it helped me grieve. I regret nothing.

Same, same! Well, not in years, but in the past few years, I haven't drawn as much until very recently, when I got my inspiration back!
That first book doesn't sound like much fun at all, gah. Everything else sounds fascinating!
Wow, I'm really glad you got to do that. I'm sure the author was moved that her writing helped you so. ^o^
Presently, I'm reading Catfish and Mandala (although, after losing the page I was on, I kind of left it behind in annoyance... I should go figure out which page I was on ^^; ) which is a very funny bike-travel memoir from the point of view of a Vietnamese American as he tries to go back to his roots. He's got a really lovely and vivid style!
Also, reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Tales of Terror and Mystery. Also reading An Unsuitable Job for a Woman by P.D. James. Cordelia's a riot (I love her inner monologue) and the mystery's pretty interesting!
I read more fiction. : D;

Chao/Katy's so cute! As is Unico himself. And Beezle... okay, every Unico character is cute.

If you ever go to Illusions, we most likely know the same people. I love history, South Park, and crafts. May I add you?
My journal is mostly about writing and the original fic I write, but you're welcome to add me back.
