Fandoms: Oh, many. Um, Sherlock, Harry Potter, Zombies, Run!, The Incredibles, Doctor Who, Star Treks of all shapes and sizes, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica (new), Red Dwarf, Big Bang Theory, so many more. I am a giant nerd.
What in fandom interests me: Writing fic and reading fic (do I love reading fic). I really love those awkwardly serious discussions where to you take aspect of fandom and treat it like it's real. Applying science to fandom (I translated all my neuroscience lecture notes into Harry Potter fanfiction in order to make them more coherent). Pairings! Pairing can be fun. Conventions are also awesome.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: I really can't stand serious ship wars, or flaming.
Major Non-fandom Interests: science, neuroscience, politics, feminism, running, rock climbing, drumming & music, PEOPLE LOTS OF PEOPLE, statistical significance (ya rly).
My LJ Contains Mostly: At the moment, it's real-life with a fic series I'm running. I would love to get more involved with fandom stuff, though.
Other: Have a Venn diagram. Venn diagrams make everything better.
