There was this huge theory back when pictures of the mysterious person in the wheelchair started surfacing. The most popular theory was that it was Hojo. Some people even thought it was Sephiroth himself. But the most popular theory was that it was Hojo. A friend of mine even went as far as to post this theory onto her Hojo related website showing all the reasons it was him.
