I have no idea what your problem with dyed hair is, and I don't agree with that, but yes on the whole blue-eye obsession. I have brown eyes and I like them. Not that my own eyes are particularly fabulous or anything, but I like brown eyes in general (I still like green and blue eyes, but I don't think they're better than brown)

Also, as someone with the most drab shade of dirty blonde possible, I cannot fault anyone for dyeing their hair. I might be too lazy to do it with any sort of regularity, but I don't understand why you'd have a problem with people (celebrities or no) just playing with an easily changed aspect of their appearance?

I like to dye my hair hair several times a year, in whatever color I feel like having. If I were to suddenly become a celeb, what would that change?

Changing your hair is a quick and painless way to change your looks. You do whatever you want with your body, but don't be telling others what to look like. Not your call.

I admit, I (a natural brunette) hate it when naturally brunette celebrities dye their hair blonde. First because I have this irrational, "What? Brown hair's not good enough for you?" reaction, second because there are so many blonde actresses who look almost exactly alike and aren't talented enough to stand out from each other on that dimension, so it's like one more woman removes a distinguishing feature so that she can blend in with the blonde sameness hive.

Whatever, I know this is silly and dumb, but there it is.

Hm mostly I am just insanely jealous of anyone who can actually dye such vibrant colors into their dark hair. Mine's ridiculously dark and frizzy/curly so I will never, ever get that joy without either frying my hair completely or having some kind of extensions/weaves/whatever put in.

This is a very strange viewpoint and you should probably try to calm down. There's nothing wrong with dying your hair. Sometimes you just want to dye your hair, not lie to the masses. I'm a natural blonde who either is pink, orange, or incredibly dark brunette, depending on my mood.

I think I get what you're saying. When celebs try to enforce stereotypes like OMG BLONDES HAVE MORE FUN THAN THE REST YOU kind of thing and implying brunettes can't be as beautiful, it gets you angry? Maybe not that specifically.

But, I have to say, Rihanna's hair right now is fucking beautiful and I don't give a fuck about anything else.



Anyway, other than that, I think this secret is shallow if you just mean celebs can't die their hair whatever they want or wear whatever contacts they wish.
