I'd be a little bit more understanding of the slash in Torchwood, given that the writers seem all about it as well (I'm a little annoyed with the whole "Every character in the show is bisexual" thing. I think it's just a bit cheap. Just another way to fit sex from any angle into the tv show, and not particularly necessary.)
I like Jack/Gwen. I don't think I'd mind much Jack/Ianto, since Ianto is supposed to be bi (if it wasn't canon, I probably wouldn't just because I hate the pointless slash). But then, Jack is friggen omnisexual, so I can never ship him with just one person anyway.
