There are plenty of people who like her, the fandom just smushed them into a corner where you couldn't say that you liked her without getting jumped on.

I wouldn't guarantee that you would like her on second watch, but I have seen people sort of mellow out on their views of her, if they change to not necessarily liking or loving the character, they sort of accept her and tolerate her more when they get some distance from the series.
