Mostly Rift, because it's prettier than Wow, costs nothing, has little to no lore to piss me off, and I feel no compulsion to raid (or to explain why I don't want to raid).

Other than that, I have downloaded the ArcheAge beta (might poke at that a bit, because, well, Andy Trout and the Scuttlebutts); I also looked up the game that was mentioned a few days ago (My Ex-Boyfriend is a Space Tyrant) and I might give it a try because it looks hilarious (Leather Goddesses of Phobos, how fondly I recall you); and finally, I am also looking forward to the re-release of the legendary Grim Fandango.

How is Rift lately? I stopped playing it last summerfest (bummed that I missed this year's), but I heard they added new souls? Like you can be a rogue healer or mage tank? I didn't really look into it because I assumed you'd have to pay for it. But I do like Rift more than WoW. So many nice QoL changes and I really like the Rift events.

Haha and +1 for Criken :P

Yeah, there are a new set of 4, one for each calling, that in combo with the Storm Legion souls lets any calling do any role - tank, deeps, support or heals. (So basically you could just roll one toon and do anything.) ~ I haven't bought the new souls, because a) I like the SL souls just fine ( I've especially enjoyed Harbinger and Tactician builds) and b) I have a 60 of each calling anyhow, so I really don't see the point of having my warrior heal when I have a chloromancer and a cleric with three dedicated healing builds. :p ~ I think the new souls might have a lot to offer raids -- you see people asking in Gen for certain of the souls -- but I just putter around questing, working on achievements, and crafting, tbh. Rift is my go-to when I want to do something fairly non-demanding while I think.

Anyhow, they're starting to gear up for the next expansion, which I think is going to focus on the plane of water? Apparently all the new content will be available to F2P, but as they've done lately patrons will continue to get nice bonuses. (One very recent change is that the patron buffs no longer require keeping track of the three daily vials -- it's a 24/7 passive now, which is nice. And also subtracts three icons from the buff bar, yay.)
