⌈ FS Fanwork Secret Santa 2014 Sign-Ups ⌋


This is a sign-up post only. All questions and comments should be directed to main announcement post here!

GENERAL INFORMATION:

In the Fanwork Secret Santa, no money is involved. The idea is to get creative. This Secret Santa is for any and all types of fanwork - even if you can't write or draw, there's plenty of other things that would qualify!

Some examples of types of fanwork:

- fanfic
- fanart
- podfic/recordings
- essays/ship manifestos
- journal themes/icons
- gifsets/photosets
- photomanips
- fanmixes
- fanvids
- comic strips
- fannish holiday cards

And anything else you think of that could fall under "fanwork," feel free to ask for or offer. Remember, this isn't just a fic/art exchange!


TIMELINE:


3rd-7th: Sign-up period
8th-9th: Matchups are determined/sent out
10th-20th: Eleven days to find/create a gift! All gifts should be in by December 20th
21st-24th: If gifts are not in, pinch-hitters notified of assignments and have until the 24th to help out
25th: Gifts are sent out to recipients
26th: Response post goes up on FandomSecrets

- If you are a pinch hitter, you might be asked help out if a Secret Santa goes AWOL or can't get a gift by Christmas. Pinch-hit notifications should go out by Dec 21st if that's necessary, so you should have 4 days to get back to us!

- If you are a Secret Santa who has something awesome in mind but can't send it in by Dec 20th, just let us know! The recipient can be informed anonymously (through us!) about the delay.

Further instructions (regarding where to send gifts, and so forth) will arrive on Dec. 8th-9th when everyone is matched!


NOTE: Comments are screened to help Santas stay anonymous - after all, if only two people list down a particular fandom, it's way too easy to guess who got who.
