I cleaned and disinfected the bird feeder. This doesn't sound like much, but just saying I was going to do it sent my mother into a frothing tantrum because she thought I would pick up some deadly disease from it, even though I used eye protection, rubber gloves, and a mask. I did it anyway--funny how that gets easier with practice.

i don't read many comics, but i've dabbled here and there and i honestly can't stand marvel's characters. i don't care if they're relatable, they're so goddamned one-note and boring. i can't stand them in the their movies, either. like, i thought the avengers was okay, but i was so utterly tired of those characters halfway through the film (except for maybe thor and loki just because of all the shakespearean angst going on between them). and yeah, it drives me up the wall that dc is just pissing away opportunity while marvel makes every freaking movie they can. and the dc movies that ARE made....ugh. *shakes fist*

i don't really understand why they revoked it? was there a reason or just reandom? if you think it's a mistake, talk to the school. and i also don't know whether that money was from government financial aid, but if not, look into that. it might be too late to get it but you never know. you qualify for financial aid based on need, not credit.

also, don't discount student loans. school-certified loans are easier to get than you may think. try citi, i've had excellent luck with them. make sure it's SCHOOL-CERTIFIED, not a private student loan (which is a lot harder to get). do the lowest amount you need, and if you possibly can, get a relative to co-sign. but 3000 isn't very much, so you might get approved on your own. trust me, it's worth it to at least try.

The word pogrom may not have been used for that long in English, but it is in Modern English the correct word to describe a massacre of Jews. such massacres have been happening in Western Europe for millennia, some spurred by the Catholic church, some by the people, and although they were not described as pogroms at the time, it is the correct way to talk about them in English today.
