Law/Luffy isn't the fandom OTP though, is it? That's more Zoro/Sanji on the slash side of things.

Plus, though Luffy is an idiot at times, he doesn't really carry the idiot ball during the important plot points and he's certainly not self-victimizing nor passive-aggressive. And no one would bat an eyelash at Law not being in an OP fic, not even the ones who think that Law is the next new Strawhat.
