I totally agree, OP. Ralph is absolutely frucking gorgeous in it and that was the only thing that kept me in the theater. I zoned out plot-wise and the romance itself was a snore. The subplot romance was more interesting (though not by much). Unfortunately, I found the book even more dull, which isn't usually the case for me.
