I would love to see novel length worldbuilding fic for Pacific Rim describing the world post-Kaiju and pre-movie. Also, I crave character studies describing the lives of (separately) Tendo Choi, the Hansens,the Kaidanovskys, Hannibal Chau, and the Triplets.

Also I want worldbuilding fic for Repo! The Genetic Opera about the rise of Gene-Co with regards to the epidemic of organ failure. The world of this movie seemed so massive and unexplored.

I knew JUST what vid you were talking about before clicking the link! It's in my top 5 vids in this fandom! Maybe even my top 2; it's pretty much perfect. You're right, the cuts are beautiful, sound is perfect, and I always love parallels in fanvids, especially with these two (Since there are so many, and they're so blatant, lol). I like how posh!Eggsy basically looks like a miniature Harry. It should probably be weird, but I just find it endearing and kind of heartwarming. (It's a shame Harry never got to see Eggsy in his suit. I need him to come back so he can fawn over him.)

You've probably read all the fic, and if you saw my other fanvid posts the vids might not be new to you either, but there's a good many of them!

Thank you! <3 I'm rubbish at keeping track of links, so even if I have read them I still love having the list available, you know? It saves me from trying to search AO3 for "that five times fic where Eggsy got tortured and then Harry saves the day." The vid recs are awesome - I hardly ever watch vids, so the only ones I'd seen were the ones by Grable and then the one I just linked.

It is a shame, isn't it? I know what you mean about finding it endearing. I know some people think it's a sign that he's not coping or fixating on Harry or something like that, but I just don't see it.

I do know, yea. I mostly save fic I like in a folder (on my phone), but doing it that way can be difficult when you want to find a specific fic. If you don't remember the actual name, then you're probably going to spend a long time going through every link in your bookmarks folder. That rec list will help me as much as it will others, if not more-so.

I hope you enjoy the vid recs, then! I've always had a soft spot for fanvids, and there are some damn talented vidders in this fandom. (Vids are so good for catching all the looks or body language you might have missed in the actual film, too.)

You might have heard the 'not coping' thing from me, haha. I do think at the end of the film he's a bit fixated on being like Harry, but I also think in time some of that will wear off. He's not Harry, he shouldn't be either, so I don't expect him to be like some replica; that wouldn't be fun (or, yea, healthy) anyway. Him taking things from Harry also makes sense since the guy was his mentor. (...Still think the clothes and his house are a bit much, but the way I see it that's how Eggsy channeled his affection for Harry.)
