I always think it's too bad my aunt and uncle decided not to have kids. My uncle-- my dad's brother-- is Caucasian (Eastern European Jewish, to be specific), my aunt is Indian.

THEY WOULD'VE HAD SUCH PRETTY BABIES. But since they're both almost forty now... yeah, not happening.

And that always feels like such a shallow way of thinking, but most of the multiracial people I know really are very striking and pretty and all that. Since my mum is British and I've picked up her accent, I kinda know what it's like to get those questions every time you meet someone new. I get a lot of "where are you from?" Probably not quite as bad as "what are you?", although it'd be easier to give people attitude with that one.
