Idk I legitimately thought the OP might be correct, so I was willing to take up the discussion... until I actually looked at my fandoms and realized that no, when there are major male POC characters who have comparable interactions to their counterparts, they do get slashed just as often.

Everyone brings up Scrubs and Psych over and over again without looking at a broader picture, or what factors might complicate those fandoms. For example, while I have never watched Psych, I have watched Scrubs, and I didn't ship JD/Turk because Turk/Carla was my favourite couple on the show, hands down. And Cox/JD is rivalslash with an element of mentor/student, which are always the most popular types of pairings in slash fandoms. Turk could have white himself and there would still be far more Cox, I guarantee it.

I didn't realize until I hashed it out that no, OP's the one cherry picking out of a misdirected grievance - when men of colour are present and have comparable interactions, slash fandom has no "white cock" problem whatsoever.
