Sorry, forgot Snape was only mean to Neville. Not that he also picked on Hermione and Harry, screwing over their education...never mind any other classes we don't see where he could be harassing other students. You make it sound like he just made the odd comment about Neville, when he was systemically bullying him in *every* lesson for 5 years straight, using his pet to experiment on, when he knew that due to his bullying, Neville didn't learn or have the confidence to make potions correctly, only to blame Neville for it......yeah, sounds like a real great guy otherwise. This is a guy who invented his own Dark spells that cut people so badly they could bleed to death in short order as a teen.
