Huh. I'd assume you were a musician--my piano teacher couldn't abide long fingernails, and I still keep my nails really short, clipped almost to the quicks, for that very reason--can't stand the clicketyclick of nails on either a piano or a computer keyboard.

And even wear nicer clothes instead of sweats and T-shirts. Granted, they won't be vintage designer or whatever, but there are reasonably priced garments that look stylish and make a lady feel good about her looks.
