I felt the same with most of the earlier Marvel movies. The action was new and fascinating back then. But I realised when I was watching CA:CW those feelings had completely gone, and I was actually impatient to get back to the characters just talking to each other.
I didn't feel this way with Winter Soldier -- I still think the scene with Fury being stuck in his car was fucking amazing and lends itself well to rewatches. I don't know, Civil War's action scenes was just too much stuff happening all at once, and it just make it seem repetitive and unmemorable. Maybe I just like action when it focuses on fewer characters, IDK.
