It's less that she only likes one song by the bands mentioned, which is fine, and more the fact that she likes the song BECAUSE it's used on the show. For example, she is pretty harsh on music she knows I like (says it's total crap etc) but I guarantee you that if they had Dean rock out to it on the show, suddenly it would be OMG AWESOME. And it's the EXACT SAME TYPE of music which they DO have him rocking out to on the show, and bands he says he loves. So I feel like trashing music even though you know your "BFF" loves it and then doing a 180 and adoring it because your favourite CHARACTER likes it is just a shitty way to behave.

Likewise, she's never given me the time of day before when it came to my love of urban legends and such, and in fact has told me to shut up at slumber parties (lol high school) when I suggested ghost stories or the like. But then she turns around and says how cool the vanishing hitchhiker or Bloody Mary is in the show? Kind of pisses me off that I say something's cool for years, I get blown off (or insulted), suddenly Jensen says it on TV, and it really IS cool. That's what bothers me about it, otherwise I woudn't care at all that she's ignorant about folklore OR music. It's just that she acts like she's all that for rocking out to "Back in Black" in her car and it makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
