I think that the problem with the house_wilson comm is that there are two big groups: 1) the rabid shippers who see House/Wilson as a romantic couple and won´t settle for anything else, and 2) people who like the pairing but are fine if it turns out to be other way, like House hooking up with Cuddy. And the mods belong to the second group, so they roll their eyes, dismiss the drama and don´t understand why people are overreacting. That´s why the first group gets mad and the wank starts.
