Eh, I used to feel that way about Franky, actually. There was just this "off" feeling to me. And part of me suspects it's stems from having a set group for so long and suddenly adding two new elements, it takes a bit to get used to how the new ones are going to flow into the group. So I kind of get where you're coming from.

*shrugs* Personally, you like who you like. The crew's large enough that people are going to like certain members over others. So what. I'm more intrigued that the OP says there's a surge of Luffy-hate, because I haven't really seen it. Then again, I'm only on LJ, so maybe it's elsewhere?
