75. I am 18 years old and a huuuuuge Artemis Fowl fan, and I felt exactly the same way as you do. Then I met Eoin Colfer at the London Expo last October (which was a huge surprise to me as well as one of the best days of my life) and he told me he loves the fact he has older fans. It made me feel much better, and I don't feel pathetic at all. <3 I hope it does the same for you.
