Love him or hate him, Joshua is a fascinating character study. But I can help but feel like the point was missed a little here...if Neku had just shot Joshua, then all his character change would've been a moot point. That was the impression I got from the game - it was about changing yourself. Although he didn't directly show it, Joshua changed to (the secret reports state this too). He had free reign to destroy Shibuya and he didn't, he restored it and kept it going, despite his intense dislike for it prior to the game.

Whilst I don't agree with the things he did, he had a reason for doing them, however selfish it was. And Neku (and co, but I get the feeling it was more Neku than anything) managed to change his perceptions somewhat too. Although I do think Neku has every right to kick him in groin next time they meet.
